SFA to hold children's art workshop

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art
and Friends of the Visual Arts will offer an art workshop for children 6
through 12 on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the SFA Art Building
Room 112 as part of the Creative Art Thursday program.
Marsha Blount, SFA instructor of art, and SFA art education students will be
helping the participants make photo montages and pop-up books from recycled
greeting cards. Class size is limited to 20 students.
The registration fee is $5 and includes art supplies and snacks.
Parents can register their children for the workshop at 3:30 on the day of
the session. Parents are welcome to attend the session, or they may leave
after completing the necessary paperwork.
